A: You will receive updates for free until new major version will be released.

A: We don't have it on our schedule yet.

Q: How much does support cost?
A: Support is free.

Q: Do I need to purchase a license for each developer who will work with your products in my company?
A: No, we do not limit number of developers; license is bounded to a company.

Q: I want to purchase upgrade to V2.X, how should I proceed?
A: Login to your clients' download area - you will find link to upgrade product there.

Q: How is software delivered?
A: Electronically. Right after purchase you will receive information how to download your products.

Q: What's new in V.2?
A: JavaScript charting library was added to V 2.X of our bundle. This library can be used with or without flash and has a fallback mechanism which allows using data and settings files used by our flash charts. Flash charts were not renewed. So you only need to upgrade to V 2.X if you want to use JavaScript version of our charts.

Q: Are your charts displayed on iPad/iPhone?
A: Yes, your JavaScript charts are displayed on these devices.

Q: Can I use amCharts for free?
A: Yes, the only limitation of the free version is that a small link to this web site will be displayed in the top left corner of your charts.

Q: What version of the Flash player is required for viewing amCharts?
A: Flash Player 8 or higher.

Q: Will I be able to use amCharts without a link to this web site after I buy a license?
A: Yes, the link is displayed only in free versions of amCharts.

Q: Will I receive the source code if I purchase a commercial license?
A: The source codes are provided for OEM license buyers.

Q: What are the main rules for the usage of the sources?
A:
1) You can't distribute sources or make them publicly available in any way.
2) You can use sources to create modifications of the products, but not to create new products and distribute them.
3) The sources are provided as they are, without any guarantee that you will understand them.
4) No free support on the topics about sources is provided.

Q: What Web server do I need to run amCharts?
A: AmCharts are platform-independent, and require only a browser and the Flash player. You can run amCharts even on your computer, without a Web server (although some advanced functions might not work offline).

Q: Can I generate data dynamically?
A: Yes, you can. You can write your own PHP, ASP or other scripts, which will generate XML or CSV content from your data.

Q: Can you help me integrate amCharts / do customizations according to my needs?
A: Yes. We have already helped numerous customers to integrate, configure and modify amCharts according to their needs. Please forward your request to custom@amcharts.com and let us handle them for you.

Q: What version of ActionScript amCharts are written in?
A: Flash version of amCharts Bundle and amStock are written in ActionScript 2. Flex Component versions of the charts are written in ActionScript 3.
