Line & Area: Chart with data gaps
You need to upgrade your Flash Player
Missing data This example shows how amLine handles missing data. Let's assume that during WWI and WWII, the guy responsible for measuring world temperature was recruited to go and fight the enemies, and so there was no data collected during 1914-1918 and 1939-1945. The chart does not display data for this period. But, if you want, there is the possibility to connect the gaps with lines as well.
Area charts
Area charts are the same as line charts, except the area between the line and the horizontal axis is filled in. You can set the opacity and color of the fill. In this case, the area between graph and X axis is filled. If you use stacked line chart, the area between graphs would be filled.
Exporting chart as an image
You can export a chart as an image. Right-click on the chart and choose "Export as image" from the menu. This function can be also called from JavaScript.
Hiding Bullets and data labels
Notice that if you zoom in the chart so that it shows data for less than a 15-year period, bullets and data labels will appear. This is handy when you have so much data that labels and bullets start to overlap each other, unless hidden.
Values in the legend
The chart legend can display currently active values. This can be useful when you have a lot of intersecting graphs - you can disable the value balloon and show values in the legend.
