This demo uses AmCharts.addInitHandler to check for a proprietary setting colorRanges in dataProvider. It then applies custom range heat map values to each area found in the data, producing variet-intensity color heat map within each value/color range.
If you'd like all colors to be solid within particular value range, just set variation to zero.
