Packed circle chart
Packed circle chart is conceptually similar to Treemap but uses circles in place of rectangles. A level in the hierarchy is represented by a group of circles that can be collapsed and expanded. Packed circle chart is not as space-efficient as treemap but is visually stunning. As always, you have to find the best compromise between the look & feel and efficiency for your specific visualization scenario.
