What Is It?

A Gantt chart is a visual project management tool that displays tasks along a timeline, making it easy to track deadlines, progress, and dependencies. Each task is represented by a horizontal bar, with its position and length showing the start date, duration, and end date. Commonly used for planning and scheduling, Gantt charts help teams stay organized, manage workloads efficiently, and ensure projects are completed on time.

amCharts: Gantt is a development library, built on the flexible and fast amCharts 5 engine, enabling adding instant project planning functionality into your website or app.

User Interface Features

amCharts: Gantt offer all the standard features you’d expect from a Gantt tool:

  • Multi-level nested, collapsible hierarchy of categories
  • Linked tasks
  • Weekend and holiday support
  • Threshold markers
  • Zero-duration event markers
  • Visual progress cues

And it’s fully editable via UI:

  • Link tasks
  • Move and resize tasks
  • Update task progress
  • Rearrange category tree
  • Add/remove/edit categories
  • Toggle threshold markers

With all of the functionality available via API:

  • Track data changes via event handlers

Licensing

amCharts: Gantt is a standalone product. It can be purchased separately, and does not require a matching license for amCharts: Charts.
